Jersey Shore Cast are being exploited by MTV - New Mashable

Are you kidding me!!!!!1
Just $10,000 per Episode for the Jersey Shore Cast !!!

Jersey Shore Cast

TMZ have found out that 2 of the cast members of "Jersey Shore" have agreed to MTV's offer of $10,000 an episode, but the others are still holding out.  MTV's original deadline was Monday night but now they are saying its do or die for the stars as their is no more negotiation left.

MTV is trying to use 'Divide and rule' in this situation where if it is successful in convincing few of them, they will replace the others, which has less of a possibility as the cast has no other option then to accept the offer now.  According to sources Ronnie and J-WOWW have already accepted the offer.

The Jersey Shore cast had rejected the earlier offer of $5000 per episode which was then doubled by MTV to $10000 per episode which is still hell lot less. I mean they are the most popular celebrities in the last few months. Just think about who made the maximum headlines in the last few months??. Yes they are Jersey Shore cast.

$10000 an episode is a free scoop of ice cream for MTV. The season finale of "Jersey Shore" was off the charts with 4.8 million viewers. They should get much much more than $10k.

TMZ also wrote that MTV has a contractual hold for the next year for the whole cast and so technically they can't negotiate but this thing happens all the time when shows become so popular. There will be great opportunity for them to negotiate once they are out of the contractual hold next year. But for season 2, they might have to get satisfied with $10k an episode.

No comments have been obtained from MTV yet about Season 2 and the participants. Sources have said if they don't accept MTV's offer, they can be replaced.
