People are surprised and excited to see Giant squid weighing up to 60 pounds (27 kilograms) swimming into waters off Newport Beach. Fishermen are taking full advantage of catching Giant Squid.
After getting noticed last week, Fishermen started using twilight fish catching to catch these Giant creatures.

The LA times reported that people are getting excited for two reasons. First groupof people who want to eat the Costly fish and others are those who want to see them in the sea and so the tourusts are also getting atracted to the area.

Robert Woodbury, from Newport Landing Sports fishing, said "Most of the fish we catch are better to eat, but they don't give you much of a fight." He said the squid were "trying to crawl around and blow ink all over everybody."
